Going wireless on the network connection lets you choose more secretive spots to hide your DVR or NVR, as it no longer needs to reach the router via cable, making your video evidence more secure. Add the USB antenna to the following recorder series: DVR-4480V, DVR-4580V, DVR-4780V, DVR-4980V (4 channel) and DVR-4980 (8 and 16 channel), DVR-5580 and NVR-8580 (they must firmware version 8 or higher).
